The only downside to the short wait for Black Flag Resynced is that it offers not much time to prepare, as the game will be unplayable for millions of players without next-generation hardware.
Taking control of Edward Kenway, Black Flag Resynced will follow the same story as the original, with Edward balancing the life of a pirate and an assassin across the Caribbean’s gorgeous environments, ranging from bustling cities, dense jungles, and perilous underwater exploration spread throughout its open world.
Black Flag Resurrected will have the same-sized world as the original game, but with additional content added to offer more things to do across its locations and islands.
Releasing less than three months after the official announcement, the confirmation of the previously rumored release date is one of the best things to come out of the showcase, especially given the sparse number of summer releases for the year so far.

If you just want to play the base experience, the standard edition of Black Flag Resynced will cost you a standard $59.99 USD, while the deluxe will cost $69.99. If you’re willing to spend the extra cash, Black Flag Resynced‘s deluxe edition offers two Master Assassin cosmetic packs, for Edward and your ship, ranging from cosmetics for Edward, several of his weapons, the ship itself, pets, and a few decals as well.

The last edition you can obtain for Black Flag Resynced doesn’t have an official price just yet, but has been leaked to be around $199.99 for the collector’s edition, according to a reputable leaker, and an early preview on Amazon. Every Change Coming To Black Flag Resynced
Despite staying true to the core of the original Assassin’s Creed 4 experience, Black Flag Resynced has overhauled several aspects of the game to offer a more seamless experience, while also throwing in plenty of entirely new content for fans to enjoy.
The first major change comes in the form of Black Flag Resynced‘s combat system, which introduces new combos, finishers, and environmental interactions to spice up its swashbuckling action. Ubisoft has also notably stayed away from the RPG mechanics of their more recent Assassin’s Creed entries, meaning you won’t see health bars or spongy enemies, while still taking advantage of the series’ brutal combat innovations.
The infamous eavesdropping segments have also received a major makeover, with failure not resulting in resetting your checkpoint, but naturally flowing into combat and even allowing you to kill the target. Offering alternative methods of completing the mission should you happen to fail an eavesdropping objective, Black Flag Resynced has plenty of features to further set it apart from its predecessor, which include:
