November 2 in Mumbai has always felt like an unofficial national festival, and today is certainly no exception. As Shah Rukh Khan turned 61, the entire Hindi film fraternity took over social media to celebrate the reigning Badshah of Bollywood. From rare vintage throwback memories to high-voltage cheers for his next big-screen avatar, the warm industry tributes came pouring in thick and fast.
Leading the pack was actor Ajay Devgn, who dropped a nostalgic throwback snapshot and wrote, “Picture purani hai aur dosti bhi…. Happy Birthday, Shah Rukh!” Longtime confidant Karan Johar couldn’t stop hyping SRK’s chiselled physical look for his upcoming thriller King, marvelling that he has become “ROC-KING”. Riteish Deshmukh chimed in with warm love for “Sha Bhai”, while daughter Suhana Khan gave her superstar dad’s new poster a proud shoutout on Instagram.
The industry’s love didn’t stop there. Farah Khan celebrated the day by spotlighting the fresh track Tu Mil Jaaye, while Kajol, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Ayushmann Khurrana shared big hugs and heartfelt notes. Director Atlee, Manish Malhotra, and Badshah also joined the massive chorus. Sixty-one looks undeniably majestic on King Khan, and the endless love surrounding him only keeps scaling grand new heights today.
