Back in February, Stardew Valley officially celebrated its 10th anniversary. It has officially been a decade since what many consider to be the greatest farming simulation game of all time was first released, and thanks to heaps of new and free content, fan-made mods, and official merchandise, it is no wonder that the game, created by solo developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone is still going strong.

Seeing players inherit their grandfather’s dilapidated farm after his death, gameplay consists of restoring it to its former glory, complete with crops, outbuildings and, of course, adorable animals. However, when you are not farming for resources in the mines or heading to the coast to do some fishing, you can befriend and even romance the local villagers, attend events, or build a collection for the local museum. Put simply, there are endless hours of content up for grabs in Stardew Valley, but if you want to immerse yourself in the world even more, you will want to get ready for another official release launching in January 2027.

Back in 2024, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone and Ryan Novak wrote and published The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook, featuring over 50 recipes based on meals that players can also make in-game. The book was a success, so it is no surprise that ConcernedApe is back with another physical release titled The Official Stardew Valley Crochet Book.

Again written by our solo developer, alongside help from Ryan Novak and Megan Lapp, The Official Stardew Valley Crochet Book features 25 whimsical crochet patterns to follow, allowing readers to make 45 unique amigurumi projects.

Adorn your farmhouse shelf with Junimos, Slimes, Parsnips, Geodes, the legendary Galaxy Sword, and, yes, even a pair of Lucky Purple Shorts! The Official Stardew Valley Crochet Book captures the essence of the beloved game, allowing you to spend more time in your happy place, crafting cozy pieces worthy of any home in Pelican Town.

If you are interested in purchasing The Official Stardew Valley Crochet Book, this is what it includes and all of the projects you will be able to embark on:

    • From the simple satisfaction of crocheting Slimes and Eggs to the more challenging proposal-worthy Mermaid Pendant, there are projects for every experience level.
    • Why crochet just one White Chicken when you can choose from a variety of beak, comb, and tail feather options to add your favorite Blue, Brown, Golden, and Void chicken varieties to the coop, too?
    • Crochet a collection of adorable Junimos and then make them a cute Junimo Hut to shelter in. With color variations to make a hut for every season, your magical nature spirits can harvest your crops in comfort year round.

The Official Stardew Valley Crochet Book also launches alongside stunning original illustrations, as well as tips and notes regarding all of your favorite characters from the game. Released in hardcover, this upcoming book officially launches in January 2027, making it the perfect belated Christmas gift for the Stardew Valley lovers in your life.
