After releasing a couple of self-released projects in 2025, the UK-based jungle producer Tim Reaper is dropping his debut solo album, World’s End, next year. Hyperdub will premiere the project on February 19, and today Reaper has shared the first single, the marching band-inspired “Roll Call.”

World’s End builds on Reaper’s jungle foundation while taking inspiration from gqom, footwork, drill, and techno. In a press statement, Reaper explained he was inspired to toy with other genres following the release of his 2024 EP, Scorched Earth. “Scorched Earth EP was inspired by a conversation I had with a mate where he was asking how I define ‘jungle’—and for me, jungle is mainly about the breakbeats and the tempo, but it could have anything else going on within that template,” he said. “The realisation made me want to challenge myself to try and bring in newer, lesser referenced sounds.”
