    A brand new album of unreleased Holger Czukay music will see the sunshine of day on March 28. Gvoon – Brennung 1, popping out through Grönland, collects simply greater than an hour of music the Can co-founder recorded within the Nineteen Nineties, throughout a interval working in Cologne alongside youthful techno producers who helped verse him in new music expertise.

    Czukay didn’t share his work till some 20 years later, when Arthur Schmidt, an artist referred to as Gvoon, adopted it to soundtrack an artwork set up based mostly on an interrogation room; Schmidt’s tales of his time in East German prisons had impressed Czukay to file the tracks within the first place.
