Viral Moments: Inside photos and videos of Shah Rukh Khan with Lionel Messi in Kolkata

Lionel Messi is currently visiting India as a part of his GOAT India Tour. His first stop in the country is Kolkata, where the legendary footballer met and interacted with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The two were seen posing for clicks, as Shah Rukh’s son AbRam Khan also joined them. Interestingly, Messi also unveiled his 70-foot statue in Kolkata in the presence of King Khan and Uruguayan footballer Luis Suárez.

The photos and videos during rounds on social media show Messi and Khan sharing a handshake while greeting each other with a smile. They also engaged in a warm photo-op where AbRam joined the duo. Having said that, AbRam also received an autograph from Messi. Social media users have shared their excitement over the photos and videos. Interestingly, some have called it the union of the biggest stars of football and cinema.

As for King Khan, he had already revealed his plans to meet Messi. He had shared a post on X, stating, “This time round not planning my Knight in Kolkata… and hoping the day ride is completely ‘Messi’. See you guys on the 13th at the Salt Lake Stadium.”

For those unaware, the Argentine World Cup winner will also be a witness to a game between the Diamond Harbour Messi All Star vs Mohun Bagan Messi All Star at the iconic Salt Lake stadium.
