A violation of culture and dignity
Calling the act “disgusting, sick, and shameless”, the actor highlighted how such misuse of technology degrades women. He remarked that in a land where women are revered, some individuals have fallen so low that they use AI in the most degrading way possible. “Using AI to create something this vile is shameful beyond words,” he wrote on X.
Deepfakes like these inflict a heavy emotional toll on celebrities, violating their privacy and dignity under the guise of digital innovation. Stars often face psychological stress and helplessness when their likeness is maliciously altered and widely disseminated online.
Legal consequences and call for AI regulation
Refusing to let the act pass, Jr NTR promised swift action against everyone involved. He stated that he would take every possible legal step against those who created and spread the morphed video. “To the scumbags behind this morphed Chuttamalle video, I will not spare any of you. I will take every possible legal action against those who created it and those who are spreading it,” the Dragon actor further added.
He urged the public not to watch, share, or engage with such content, warning that anyone’s family member could be targeted next. Concluding his statement, he appealed to state governments and the Government of India to bring in strict regulations against the misuse of artificial intelligence.
