Xbox Game Pass Loses 10 Games In 3 Days

Xbox Game Pass has some major additions this month, but it’s also losing a roster of equal size. While nothing in the Game Pass library is ever guaranteed to be permanent, that doesn’t make parting any easier, especially when there’s not enough time to catch up on everything you might have missed.

The next slate of losses is set to occur on July 15, providing only a few days to check out anything that still grabs your interest. Luckily, some of the best titles leaving are short enough to knock out with some committed and efficient use of your spare time.

As announced on XBOX Wire, the following games will leave Xbox Game Pass on July 15:

    • Dungeons of Hinterberg (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • EA Sports Football Club 24 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Stellaris (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Golf With Your Friends (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Minami Lane (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Powerwash Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Splitgate: Arena Reloaded (Cloud, Console, and PC)
    • Super Fantasy Kingdom (Game Preview) (PC)
    • Techtonica (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC)

As is often the case, the departing titles cover a wide range of genres. Sports fans can opt for two very different experiences with EA Sports Football Club 24 and Golf With Your Friends, the latter of which provides a lot of silly mini-golf fun. It’s also a sad time for those who like venturing into dungeons with an adventuring spirit, as there might not be enough time to play through both Dungeons of Hinterberg and Shadow of the Tomb Raider before the 15th.

For fans of cozy games, Minami Lane offers a slice of cutesy street management, while Powerwash Simulator provides a surprisingly meditative experience. Stellaris and Splitgate round out the lineup of complete games with outer space strategy and arena shooter action, respectively. Super Fantasy Kingdom and Techtonica, meanwhile, are part of Xbox’s Game Preview system that works similarly to Steam’s Early Access on PC.

If none of the departing games sound like the right fit for you, it might be time to look at the additions, especially with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 on its way this month. Gears of War: Reloaded, which was previously only accessible through Ultimate and PC subscriptions, also became available to Premium subscribers on July 9.

In the middle of massive Xbox lay-offs, the state of Xbox Game Pass all feels a bit immaterial. Nonetheless, it continues to tick along as usual, and this is the last chance to play the games leaving in mid-July.
