Kiara Advani Unveiled As Nadia in Yash’s Toxic; Fans Spot Harley Quinn Vibes

The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Adults unveiled Kiara Advani’s first look from the film on Sunday, instantly setting social media abuzz. The poster, shared by the film’s male lead Yash on Instagram and reposted by Kiara and the team, introduces the actor as Nadia, a character that already seems layered, intense, and visually arresting.

In the poster, Kiara is seen wearing a black off-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit, standing alone under a spotlight on what appears to be a dance floor. With her back partially turned to the camera and tears streaming down her face, the image captures a moment of vulnerability and strength. Her gothic-inspired styling and sombre expression led fans to draw parallels with characters from Tim Burton’s dark fantasy universe, while several also compared her look to DC’s iconic Harley Quinn. Comments ranged from “She looks like Lady Joker” to “Nadia already feels powerful,” highlighting the impact of the reveal.

Toxic marks Kiara Advani’s first film release since she became a mother earlier this year, making the announcement particularly special for her fans. For Yash, the film is his first release since the conclusion of the blockbuster KGF Franchise in 2022, which catapulted him to pan-India superstardom. Unsurprisingly, his fans flooded the comments section, expressing confidence that Toxic could be another box-office juggernaut. The KGF films, directed by Prashanth Neel, collectively grossed over ₹1500 crore worldwide and redefined Yash’s career trajectory.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geethu Mohandas, Toxic boasts an ensemble cast including Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will release in six languages. Scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi, Toxic is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
