Alia Bhatt is all praise for her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni after watching their upcoming film Daadi Ki Shaadi. On Friday, Alia took to Instagram Stories and shared her excitement after attending the film’s special screening. Calling the movie heartwarming and entertaining, she said it left her smiling with its mix of humour, emotional moments and relatable family chaos.

Sharing glimpses from the screening night, Alia described the film as a rollercoaster filled with twists, laughter and heartfelt emotions. She also gave a special shoutout to Neetu and Riddhima, saying both of them lit up the screen with their performances. Alia further encouraged fans to watch the film in theatres and catch an early show.

Meanwhile, Riddhima recently opened up about the advice she received from her brother Ranbir Kapoor before stepping into films. She shared that Ranbir asked her to stay natural in front of the camera, trust her instincts, and focus on living the character instead of trying too hard to perform. According to Riddhima, that guidance stayed with her throughout the shoot and helped shape her performance.

Backed by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios and Shimla Talkies, the film has been directed by Ashish R. Mohan. Along with Neetu and Riddhima, the cast also includes Sarath Kumar and Sadia Khateeb in important roles. The story explores relationships, emotions and second chances within a family setup. Ahead of the release, the makers organised a special screening on May 5, which was attended by Ranbir, Alia and veteran actress Rekha.
