Director Imtiaz Ali recently joined actors Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Raina for a promotional event for their upcoming film, Main Vaapas Aaunga, which is slated for a theatrical release on June 12, 2026. The trio posed against a backdrop of posters featuring co-star Diljit Dosanjh, whose character narrates this emotional period drama set during the 1947 Partition. Sharvari opted for a modern, boho-chic look, wearing a white bubble-hem mini dress layered with an intricately embroidered denim jacket. Vedang complemented her in a relaxed tan button-down shirt paired with distressed, wide-leg jeans. Imtiaz Ali maintained his signature understated style in a simple navy blue shirt. The event prominently featured a vintage bicycle, a direct nod to the old-school romantic aesthetic seen in the film’s teaser, where Vedang and Sharvari’s characters portray a young couple separated by history. Produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films, the movie reunites the legendary musical team of AR Rahman, Irshad Kamil, and Ali.
