“I don’t really remember a time before music,” says MNV. “Even in school, I’d be tucked away in the back bench with a notebook- not taking notes, writing lyrics. That’s just always been in me. Training classically in Hindustani and Western vocals, writing in four languages, and having spent years as a live performer means I’ve got a lot of ways to tell a story, and I can’t wait to share them in this first chapter finally.”
At the defining moment for India’s indie movement, Times Music’s ffs. Records is back and doubling down on what it does best: finding the artists nobody else sees yet, building their sound, and putting India’s next wave of independent talent on the global map.
“Every once in a while comes along a transformative artist who blows you away with refreshingly amazing music that puts you in a great mood, defies every genre gravity and is a real artist in the truest sense- that artist is Manav (MNV)”, says Mandar Thakur, CEO, Times Music.
Gadbadi is now available across all major audio streaming platforms and on Times Music’s YouTube channel.
