The star of Pitchfork’s fourth and final zine of the year is Dijon. Few artists had a more impactful 2025 than the Los Angeles singer-songwriter, who not only released his critically acclaimed sophomore album, Baby, but also toured North America, had key features on Justin Bieber’s Swag and Bon Iver’s SABLE, fABLE, and made his acting debut in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another.

In our cover story, which is accompanied by photos from Julian Klincewicz, contributor Paul A. Thompson speaks to Dijon about a whirlwind 12 months, going from cult act to one of the most compelling voices in modern music. As Thompson writes, “Dijon is the rarest sort of popular artist: one committed to pushing formal boundaries in a way that makes him and his audience sincerely uncomfortable but who seems to get more famous the less he compromises.”

You can purchase up a hard-copy of the zine at Rough Trade Records.
