Hrithik’s appearance in the film will also mark his on-screen reunion with Thalaiva after four decades. The duo had appeared together in the film Bhagwaan Dada, where a young Hrithik had played the role of Rajinikanth’s foster son.
As per a report in Variety India, multiple look tests are being planned for the actor for his ‘action-heavy’ role. He is expected to shoot his portions in Chennai on June 22 and 23.

Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is a sequel to his 2023 blockbuster Jailer. It is being positioned as a mass entertainer, with a star-studded ensemble that includes confirmed appearances from Kamal Haasan, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal and Nandamuri Balakrishna.
It will release theatrically on September 11.
