Power of eloquence
Jr NTR is no stranger to the political stage. At just 25, he was the face of a massive campaign for the Telugu Desam Party in the 2009 Andhra Pradesh elections. The actor’s ability to connect with the masses through his powerful speeches was evident even then. However, he has spent the last decade maintaining a careful distance from active politics. He has often stated that he is currently satisfied with his journey as an actor.
Jr NTR’s supporters frequently point to his oratory skills as his greatest strength. On film stages, his speeches are celebrated for their clarity and impact. The actor possesses a strong command over the Telugu language—arguably among the best of the younger crop of actors. His thunderous delivery style continues to prompt fans to urge him to take the political plunge.

Shifting cinematic tones
Much like Thalapathy Vijay transitioned into themes of social justice, Jr NTR could explore narratives that resonate with the common man in his films. He may not be ready for overtly political dramas yet. Instead, he might favour rooted stories with strong social undercurrents. Vijay’s films like Kaththi and Bigil didn’t directly target any political party but positioned him as an actor with conviction. This strategy could allow the RRR and Devara star to remain influential while staying focused on his craft. Currently, Jr NTR is focused on Dragon, a high-octane action drama directed by Prashanth Neel. During the film’s promotions, if the Telugu media raises questions about Vijay’s political success, he is likely to respond in a measured and careful manner.
