Deftones have sold most of their music rights to Warner Music Group, according to a new report from Billboard. The deal actually took place sometime in the past two years, but is just coming to light now.

No exact money amount has been revealed, but Billboard estimated that the deal may have been anywhere from $41 million to $75 million depending on when it took place and other factors. The agreement included the band’s master‑recording royalties, its co‑publishing stake, and writer royalties. Warner had already owned the band’s master recordings prior to the transaction.

Billboard further reported that one member of the band decided to retain his publishing stake, and will continue to receive master-recording royalties.
