    Jessie Ware Announces New Album Superbloom

    After much teasing, Jessie Ware has finally announced Superbloom, her first new album in three years. The LP arrives on April 10 via Interscope. Fronting the record is its lead single “I Could Get Used to This,” which came out last week along with a glamorous music video set in a secret garden.

    “Since What’s Your Pleasure? I’ve been trying out this fantasy world and escapism,” Ware says of the new album. “I’m not the most by-the-book ‘pop star,’ but I do like to play with dress-up, glamour, and fun. While I love dance music, I wanted to dig deeper with this record; to connect with real relationships and appreciate the love I have, and the fears I have of losing it.”

    Superbloom follows Ware’s 2023 full-length That! Feels! Good!, which was one of the best albums from that year. The tracklist hasn’t been revealed just yet, but Ware has shared that Barney Lister and Karma Kid are featured, it’s mixed by Ben Baptie, and a still-unreleased track sounds like “Minnie Riperton decided to walk in another Garden of Eden.”

    While Superbloom single “I Could Get Used to This” ushers in Ware’s grand return as a solo artist, she technically hasn’t been silent these past few years. In 2024, she hopped on collaborations with Salute and Romy.
